🇮🇳AZADI 2K23🇮🇳 INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION Lisie College College of Allied Health Sciences organized Independence day celebration program. The event was attended by the students, faculty, and staff of Lisie College of Allied Health Sciences. The program begun with welcome speech by Sreethu S.L( chairperson, LCOAHS) . She spoke about the importance of Independence Day and the sacrifices that were made by the freedom fighters to achieve it. Prof.Harikumar J (vice principal & staff advisor, LCOAHS) inaugurated the function & in his inauguration speech he said that, “Hatred and violence are rampant in the world. Nowadays we need to build a better future with full of love, unity and understanding. This Independence Day is a reminder of that”. The next event was the patriotic song competition. Students from different classes participated in the competition and sang patriotic songs. The judges were impressed by the talent of the students and the enthusiasm with which they sang. Winners are DMLT 2021 Batch, LCOAHS. The quiz competition was the next event. The quiz was conducted by Anto Sebastian & Tony (students of DMLT 2022). The questions were challenging but the students were able to answer them correctly. The result announcement was the next event. The winners of the patriotic song competition and the quiz competition were announced. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Ann mariya Johnson (vice chairperson). The event came to an end by singing the National anthem which symbolises unity & pride. Everyone who had participated in the event and made it a success. The Independence Day celebration at Lisie College of Allied Health Sciences was a grand success. It was a day to celebrate the freedom of India and to remember the sacrifices that were made by the freedom fighters. The event was also a great opportunity for the students to showcase their talents and to learn more about their country.
